Turkish Airlines Denies Claims Regarding Aircraft Donation to Albania

Turkish Airlines (THY) issued a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) regarding reports in various media outlets alleging that an aircraft in its fleet was donated to the Republic of Albania. The Incorporation stated that these allegations do not reflect the truth.

The statement emphasized that the aircraft in question never entered Turkish Airlines’ ownership and only provided service within the scope of operational requirements.

The flag carrier expressed that it demonstrates maximum compliance with Corporate Governance Principles within the framework of the Capital Markets Law and applicable legislation.
